Trai respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Trai stores information you enter into the app, including food logs, nutrition targets, workout logs, workout plans, weight entries, reminders, notes, preferences, and chat messages. This information is used to provide tracking, planning, coaching, and history features.
Trai may use your camera or photo library when you choose to log food from an image. Food photos and related meal details may be processed to estimate nutrition information and help create or update food entries.
With your permission, Trai can read and write supported Apple Health data, such as workouts, weight, body composition, and nutrition data. Health access is optional and controlled by Apple Health permissions on your device.
Health data is used to provide app functionality, personalization, workout and nutrition tracking, and coaching features. Trai does not use Apple Health data for advertising or sell Apple Health data.
If you sign in, Trai uses Sign in with Apple to create and manage your account. Trai also uses App Store purchase information to determine whether you have access to Trai Pro features.
Trai Pro features use server-backed AI processing for coach chat, food analysis, and adaptive plan creation or refinement. Relevant app data may be sent to Trai's backend and AI providers only as needed to generate the requested feature response.
Trai may use prompts, responses, feedback, and related usage information to evaluate, maintain, protect, and improve Trai's AI features, including model performance and safety. Where practical, this data is de-identified or aggregated before being used for improvement. Trai does not sell this data or use it for third-party advertising.
Third-party AI providers may process, retain, review, or use submitted content under their own terms, policies, and account settings, including to provide, secure, evaluate, or improve their services where permitted. Trai aims to send only the information needed for the requested AI feature and does not intentionally send direct account identifiers such as your email address to AI providers unless needed to provide, secure, debug, or support the service.
Because AI features may involve third-party processing, you should not include highly sensitive information in prompts, photos, notes, or chats unless you are comfortable with that information being processed to provide the AI feature. Information you choose to enter may still reveal personal details about you, your health, diet, fitness, habits, or goals.
Trai may share information with service providers that help operate the app, such as cloud hosting, authentication, purchase validation, diagnostics, and AI processing providers. These providers may process information according to their own terms and policies and are expected to provide appropriate protection for user data.
Trai may keep limited operational records needed to run the service, enforce subscription limits, debug issues, and monitor backend AI usage. Trai does not sell your personal data and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Trai keeps app data for as long as needed to provide the app's features, maintain account and subscription access, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and operate the service. Operational logs and diagnostics are generally kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
You can delete entries and other app content from within Trai where supported. If you need help deleting account-related data, contact the developer using the email below.
Trai uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and Trai cannot guarantee absolute security.
Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where Trai or its service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
Trai is not intended for children under 13. Trai does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the developer so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
